After the exciting experience of last year, when Italy Archeoclub of
Barletta, in agreement with the City of Barletta and the Superintendence for Archaeological Heritage of Puglia, is organizing a new field of research at the spa complex
S. Mercury, in the archaeological area of \u200b\u200bCanne della Battaglia.
The archaeological survey conducted in the past had put light tank in a beautiful old imperial later, recent excavations have revealed a number of structures of the Antonine age (dating back to the I-II century AD.) relevant to a spa.
These archaeological findings offer new insights for interpreting the reconstruction of the occupation of territory by the end of Cannes to the rebirth of the social war in late antiquity.

attention to these great discoveries, this year the search will take place September 21 to 26 minutes, from 9.00 to 13.00, the activities will be coordinated by archaeologists employed by the Superintendent.
The initiative is aimed at enthusiasts and students who have come of age
: volunteers will be provided with insurance coverage upon registration of Archeoclub Italy. The association will provide adequate equipment for the work in situ.
It is also required, to use gloves, shoes and comfortable clothing.
